Personal Website Redesign
The Back Story
As a designer, my style has continually evolved over the years. Initially, my portfolio was constrained by the limited technical skills I possessed back in 2021. However, I have dedicated myself to becoming a better designer, constantly learning new skills every day. With a fresh perspective in mind, I embarked on revamping my portfolio using Figma and brought it to life on Wix.
Project Brief
You know what? I might be a pretty good designer, but when it comes to being a client, I have to admit, I can be a bit of a mess. I mean, I absolutely love everything aesthetic! One day I'm all about that minimalism, and the next day I'm going crazy for maximalism. It's like a never-ending battle to settle on a design style! But hey, when it came to my website, I knew I wanted it to scream out some words: Fun! Out there! Bright! Energetic! Let's bring on the good vibes!

Inspiration
Inspired and fueled by my search for creativity, I compiled a moodboard bursting with vibrant colors, flat illustrations, and a hint of retro nostalgia. This eclectic mix became the springboard for my design journey. In that very moment, it struck me like lightning—I knew illustrations would be the key to setting the perfect tone for my design. With enthusiasm and determination, I embarked on a visual adventure, ready to bring my ideas to life.

The Design Approach
So, here's the deal: I wanted to land a job, and my website had to be straight to the point. It had to showcase my experience and portfolio while giving a peek into my artsy side for those curious souls. So, first things first, I picked a color palette that I found cool from all the stuff I checked out. Red was a no-brainer, 'cause it instantly gives you an energy boost. And pink? Well, it adds that fresh touch. To balance things out, I went for a dark grey that really makes those colors pop. And of course, the illustrations had to be bright and vibrant 'cause we want to keep things lively, right? So there you have it, my design journey summed up!

Illustrations
Now, let me tell you about the bio illustration. It's basically my own self-portrait, my artistic interpretation, you know? Once I had that figured out, everything else just fell into place for the header section. It set the tone and style for the rest of the illustrations, and it all started coming together beautifully. It's like the puzzle pieces magically fit, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
